The Charlottesville Lie

Have you ever heard CNN or MSNBC or a hundred other news outlets recite the claim that President Trump said there were “good people on both sides” in Charlottesville, Virginia, referring to neo-Nazi’s or white supremacists?  Did you believe that he actually said that?  Have you heard this repeated ad nauseam by the media?  You have not questioned it but just assumed it must be true; right?

There are urban myths in America.  Stories that take on a life of their own.  Stories often based in conjecture, that are baseless and without merit.
