The Worst Real Racism in Modern History
UPDATE: The worst real racism in modern times happened after this post was written. The murder of little Cannon Hinnant, a 5-year old white boy living in Wilson, North Carolina, who was shot in the head execution style by a black man named Darius Sessoms is unquestionably the most heinous racial crime of modern times. As of this date, the perpetrator has NOT been charged with a hate crime by the county’s black DA. There is no better example in America of “real racism.”
During the L.A. riots in 1992, a truck driver, unaware of the tense situation centered at the intersection of Florence and Normandie in south L.A. had gone his normal route to deliver a load. The driver’s name was Reginald Denny. What Denny didn’t know on this day was that if you were white, you were going to be a victim of violence and possibly murder. Every white driver, attempting to drive through the area was attacked, and if they were stopped, badly beaten or murdered. Much of this was captured on live TV by helicopter news reporters.
This was wanton racism. The hundreds of blacks in the area were beating and attempting to kill any person who had white skin. Denny was unaware that his life was about to be changed and the whole nation would be watching the racist attack on him live.
As Denny passed through the intersection, he had to stop to avoid running over people in the street. Several black men broke out his driver’s window and dragged Denny out of the truck’s cab. They beat him on live TV and smashed his head with several bricks and stones in an attempt to murder him. Denny did nothing to provoke this senseless attack but have white skin.
The social justice warriors of today will ignore this inexcusable example of overt racism to go back to their narrative about “systemic” anti-black racism or replaying the last moments of George Floyd’s death while ignoring the body-cam footage that showed that Floyd was saying he couldn’t breath long before being place on the ground, at his request, and dying from a combination of meth and fentanyl. Denny will be ignored and his permanent brain damage and the fact that his attackers only served 3 years in jail will mean nothing because the current narrative is not about real “racial justice” for all people, but only about selective outrage.
